🗓️ Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival & Birding in Antigua 🏛️🐦

Arrive in Antigua Guatemala and check in at your hotel. Enjoy an afternoon birding session in nearby reserves, searching for species such as the Bushy-crested Jay and Rufous Sabrewing.

Day 2 – Transfer to Los Cuchumatanes 🚐🏔️

Travel toward Los Cuchumatanes, enjoying birding stops along the way. In the afternoon, explore high-altitude trails in search of the Black-capped Siskin and Guatemalan Pygmy-Owl.

Day 3 – High-Altitude Birding 🌲🐦

Spend a full day exploring cloud forests and pine-oak woodlands. Search for the Goldman’s Warbler, Pink-headed Warbler, and Blue-throated Motmot. Enjoy mountain viewpoints and an optional evening excursion to look for owls and other nocturnal wildlife.

Day 4 – Highland Birds & Cultural Experience 🏔️🏡
