🗓️ Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Antigua Birding
- Arrive in Antigua Guatemala and check in at your hotel.
- Afternoon birding at Finca El Pilar, looking for Highland Guan, Blue-throated Motmot, and bush-tanagers.
- Welcome dinner and tour briefing.
Day 2: Tecpán and Ranchitos del Quetzal
- Early birding in Tecpán, searching for highland specialties such as the Pink-headed Warbler.
- Continue to Ranchitos del Quetzal to look for the Resplendent Quetzal and Black-capped Swallow.
- Overnight at a mountain lodge.
Day 3: Horned Guan Expedition and Lake Atitlán
- Pre-dawn hike in search of the Horned Guan and Highland Guan.
