Day 1: Arrival and Antigua Birding
- Arrive in Antigua Guatemala and check in at your hotel.
- Afternoon photography session at Finca El Pilar, focusing on hummingbirds and warblers.
- Welcome dinner and trip briefing.
Day 2: Tecpán and Ranchitos del Quetzal
- Early transfer to Tecpán for highland bird photography, including opportunities to search for the Pink-headed Warbler.
- Continue to Ranchitos del Quetzal to photograph the Resplendent Quetzal in cloud forest habitat.
- Overnight at a mountain lodge.
Day 3: Horned Guan Expedition and Atitlán Highlands
- Pre-dawn hike for an opportunity to photograph the elusive Horned Guan.
- Picnic breakfast on the trail.
- Afternoon photography around Lake Atitlán, searching for the Azure-rumped Tanager and motmots.
- Overnight accommodation with lake views.
